The Program Manager ensures projects adhere to established schedules, specifications, and budgets. Responsible for supporting Field Operations programs, projects, and initiatives critical to the Operations Section mission. Develops working plans for new programmatic initiatives and existing projects and oversees their implementation. Works closely with external partners on the creation and implementation of programs to ensure the safety and security of the Jewish community in North America.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Lead large scale, organization-wide projects which impact significant field and/or HQ operations; identify and recommend solutions to create operational efficiencies
- Serve as an advisor and consultant to executives, managers, and operational personnel by performing functions which include a range of planning, research, analysis, and administrative management functions addressing complex issues
- Assess the productivity, effectiveness, and efficiency of program operations and/or analyze and resolve issues in the staffing, effectiveness, and efficiency of administrative management activities
- Establish criteria to measure and/or accomplish program and organizational goals and objectives
- Develop administrative procedures, such as those governing the allocation and distribution of personnel, supplies, equipment, and other resources, or promulgating program guidance for application across organizational lines and in varied geographic locations
- Coordinate with other internal departments to confirm that assigned projects are completed according to specifications, budgets, and timelines
- Take proactive steps to ensure adherence to expectations and minimize delays in delivery
- Regularly communicate with both internal and external stakeholders to arrange meetings, develop program schedules, and address identified or anticipated issues
- Forecast potential schedule delays and develop alternate plans
- Create and develop collateral materials, reports, proposals, and correspondence for internal and external stakeholders
WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE:
- Bachelor's degree in related field, advanced degree preferred.
- At least three to five years of related experience in Administration/Business Process and/or Project Management.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and client service skills.
- Superb organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Exceptional time management skills with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage statistical measurements and operational metrics.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment and handle multiple tasks with short deadlines.
- Ability to manage and process sensitive intelligence and information.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite,
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse group of professionals
